If you’ve been reading my blogs you know Stewart Mortgage Corp. is a proud  sponsor of the B.C. Wildlife Park.

Some of you may have used your “free” admission pass that you recently received from us when we placed your mortgage for you. If not, now is a good time to go to the park, especially if the kids are driving you crazy over the summer holidays.

There’s lots happening at the park, over 60 species to see including grizzly bears, black bears, badgers, bison, cougars, coyotes, moose, mountain goats, raccoons, elk, lynx and many others. There are the free flight bird shows, and zippity zoo  playground and splashpark to name some.

The Family Farm Animal Encounters is also operating daily. Your child can experience the delight in the touch and grooming of pygmy goats and assist the staff in caring for these lovable animals. Please remember all the animals are on strict diets     provided by the keepers so do not feed the animals anything. You will see the new family farm petting zoo barn which The Thompson Rivers University Carpentry program is currently building that will be ready in August.
